Moaning about price and thinking one of the top riders and kite designers were going to launch Switch 2.0? Just make the blanket statement that ALL kite gear is too expensive 100 more times because I assure you these companies don't care. It's been drubbed to death on forums since this sport came out.
"THIS STUFF IS TOO DAMNED EXPENSIVE
Simply more and more people buying Gong, Swith, Gin kites because they fly exatcly the same but price is twice less.
Where is point to buy kite for 1600? Its as three personal computers, as two premium class mobile phones, as three 4k tv- its Highest technology supercomplex pieces. The kite is just kite nothing else (even just part if riding possibility, even without or not enough wind its nothing), except if you are pro than you can make money with it.
Capitalism works, if the alternative model works and more people buy direct then more gear will be sold direct. The only time I have found a reseller useful is when I have needed something right away, but for those things I have boat shops or other places or my own stock. The advice and things I have heard resellers say or do and the prices they charge well it is no doubt to me why if the sport is dying or struggling. I was ashamed in the earlier days people starting instructing with 6 months experience. And the things being taught, iko... really disappointing. It really wouldn't surprise me if some of this is still going on.

According to his interview with kitesurf 365 he is mostly adding his kite experience and project enthusiasm. Sounds like he had some input into the range of boards but he wasn't taking credit for kite design.

Designer for onkiteboarding is the original designer of the rabbits Alain bernard sorry if if I miss spelt his name.
One of best designers in the world designed the new furia is helping vantage as well.
So is a top designer. Over 180 kite designs and been in the game for 20+ yrs.
Kites will be perfectly balanced as usual and be a do it all kite.

Alain Bernard designed the new Furia (the 2019/20 model) ? I thought he designed the old model. But this new version is great, very close to an Duotone EVO or Eleveight RS.

Very interesting interview with Damien Girardin.

Does anyone know if the Reedin Supermodel kites have pulleys? Can't see it discussed anywhere and cannot see from the photos and videos ...

Been told there is one pulley each side.
