I am looking for a nice and simple control bar. I have Cabrinha and Slingshot kites. My main requirements will be
1. Above the bar trim, and probably bungee
2. Adjustable size for 7m to 11m kites
3. Reliable and easy re-loadable QR
4. Easy kite lines and bar maintenance (in case to replace lines)
Looks like 2020 Cabrinha trimlite overdrive and new North navigator are the best match.
Anyone has any experience on these bars?
Thanks in advance

I was recently looking and had similar criteria. I looked a lots of different bars and concluded the ozone contact bar is one of the best designed bars on the market, get a 50cm bar with 23m lines. The big benefit is you can buy every spare part of the bar easily, so any future maintenance costs are kept down. Also the PU covered centre line is a must for me, bare rope, sand and salt... leads to fast wear and potential broken centre lines!!!

A great big chicken loop to never ever unhook with. Super big. Never unhook. Just what I need.
Oh almost forgot. A easy reseting QR, for when I never release and super clucking release that always releases when I exactly don't need it.
Thanks North
and if you don't make it just like that
I have every other kite brand to choose from.
SO FU.CK YOU ALL!

I came from a Cabrinha Recoil as my 1st bar. Hindsight - a lot of parts and heavy. Not clean to wind up end of a session.
I just picked up the North Navigator and slider rope attachment. Steering lines easily replaced and extended as required. Centerlines - probably a bit of taking apart like any bar. It is very light - and nothing unnecessary. Been out on it about 10 times and am very happy with it. Resetting QR one-handed and simple.

I have also been using the Ozone 50X23 for about a year and it has worked perfectly. I never think about once on the water, it just does what it’s supposed to do easily. 6-10 m kites.

almost all bars are made the way you are asking and most of them are good,so plenty of options.
cabrinha recoil bar is a different bar than the trimlite

Last time I've checked - Ozone still supplies bars with fixed line ends. So here goes your maintenance.
On most other (more sensible) brands you can simply replace your worn line ends every so often and keep going.

Always borrowing and lending kites so always have pigtails on and as it turns out they are pretty cheap.

Thanks everyone for feedback. Yes, I forgot to mention about the PU tubing for center lines. I think that is a great feature. Currently I am using Slingshot 50cm bar 23m lines. I also have a 55cm Cabrinha recoil.
Slingshot bar is very robust, I like it's construction. I found QR is not easy to re-load but never had any false release. Only issue with depower rope is not in PU tubing. Cab recoil had false released few times on me, I don't know how it happens even with slight touch may be.
I was looking at North navigator if the construction materials are good or not. This is the first bar they came out with since Old North became Duotone.

If you mean the red and blue leader lines in the link below, they are replaceable on any bar including Ozone. If you mean the knots spliced into the outside lines where they connect to the kite then these should be thrown away if significantly worn. Failing to see the issue here ?
