Local Beach: I am writing Chris Calthrops biography for his family and would really like to be able to contact the incredible surfing athletes that have so kindly commented via kiresurf regarding Chris and his tragic death . I am not a kitesurfer but am needing to collate all Chris Calthrops life history with these guys if this can be at all possible . many thanks for your consideration.
Gear: Please see above explanation of why I am contacting/registering kitesurf. I would be so very grateful to be accepted for this reason.

Hi , I am in the process of writing Chris Calthrop's biography as he was quite an extraordinary man yet so humble. He would have met so many fellow kite surfers during the years of his achievements and pioneering work and I would be so grateful if any sportsman and friends that knew him both on and off the water would consider offering and sharing some of their stories and memories for the purpose of the book. It would be great to hear from you so please do get in touch, with many thanks. Stay safe and well in these current difficult times.
Kindest Regards
Nikki

Very sad news,,, an early leader of the sport, who inspired us all back in the day.

RIP
