Check the latest instagram stories on him flying huge at CT. Pretty impressive for a strapless sb.

The problem with Airton, is how to judge his performance ? During the same heat, for example facing Liam Whaley, how to score very different tricks on different boards ? Not an easy task for the judges.
They talked about it in the riders meeting apparently and there is some footage of it on here: https://www.instagram.com/stories/woosportskite/

If you can't watch it:
- it doesn't matter what kind of equipment the riders use: boots, straps, board type, style of kite, line length
- all that counts is extremity and height
- if airton does not get the height/extremity he gets less points

And you have Aaron at the end saying: you should put a handle on airton ... which is fkn hilarious

They will probably start tomorrow with round 1 and 2.
Not really the wind that suits with this event.

F*** the guys who are against handles.
Let them do their basic board offs.
Aaron at it again and again. Time to progress dude!

It is as equally stupid if someone says don’t use boots for wakestyle.

No, they're not comparible. Boots are a default piece of equipment to actually ride, a handle is an accessory to make board off tricks easier. Surfboard with/without straps would be a better comparison.

easier is relative. Grabbing the tail is easiest, need being less flexible.

Rail is also easy.

But, Handle makes tricks possible, which are not possible without. I know, because I do it in all variations.
