easier is relative. Grabbing the tail is easiest, need being less flexible.
Rail is also easy.
But, Handle makes tricks possible,
which are not possible without. I know, because I do it in all variations.
There's the money shot! This is why many don't believe they should be allowed in competition or see them as legitimate kiteboarding tricks.

they want to win since they don't pull such tricks. I know soem of the guys competing...they do anything to win...go to skippers meetings and listen...it's a shame!
For the sport? No, just their pocket. One reason I stopped competing...it's not my mentality.

Are you seriously suggesting riders wanted rid of handles because of money? C'mon... thats ridiculous even for you.

No i havn't. Do they use board handles at KOTA usually? If so, does Airton get scored higher for not using one?

Then you won't know. Take this as info from someone that has been...
Some have handles, some not. Shouldn't be a matter. And doesn't make a real difference. Use what you want...and luckily the rules say so.
Taking a boardoff like Airton is like taking a twintip off...landing is actually easier, since you don't need to put the straps back on. But of course jumping strapless is harder than with straps or boots.
I don't want to score this...and I am sure it will lead to quiet some discussions how to score the strapless stuff...
But, 70% height is biggest factor, so that makes it a bit easier than eg 50/50

Strapless landing is way harder than with straps or boots. Fact. Those guys don’t miss the landing due to not being able to get their feet in tostraps, but landing strapless you only steer with one hand and you really cqn bounce off from the board esp. when landing hot or on top of chop. In GKA strapless competitions you can see how hard the landing is...
Please try it by yourself with some power like they have in Kota.

I am first league, no matter what.
Did I say strapless is easy? I talked about taking the board off...read! I said jumping and landing is a different thing...we talked about BOARDOFF.
Of course riding strapless is very hard. So is the highest level of Airstyle too, none of you (who are attacking me) will ever reach. FACT too!
PS: show some respect, I am 48. These kids are around 20. Show me anyone in the sport landing that many firsts at that age. Dimitri is one, but by far not as many.
And since I have it all on video, it is no blabla, like some guys on here like to do. Show or shut up.
