Great info guys, thanks. Im almost all for the CF now.
One more question, I started jumping like 20 sessions ago so im still a beginner on this.
The more harsh on the landings what it means?
Because as a beginner on this i dont think it would hurt to have extra safety on the landings.

If you just started jumping, you're not going to notice. If you're coming in from megaloops or freestyle kite unaided landings, you'll quickly find out. Probably a couple years from this, so don't worry about it.

I agree! Raptor pro ltd is the # 1 board .I own the 136 and 140. Huge difference in the different sizes, not bad just different. Indestructable . Size 14 feet here and the most comfortable pad/strap set up. The new extreme looks like a slightly stiffer board , so it may be a little rougher in the chop than the ltd, just a guess though. Buy it and let us know what you think !
How do you find them different, I am thinking on downsizing to a 136 from a 140 to hold a bit more power. I am thining the 136 might be a little bit snappier in the pop.
The 140 rides big ,the landings aren't as cushy ,doesn't cut through the chop as well, has more low end as expected. The 136 is a much better board for me once the wind picks up, holds edge well for jumps, the hot landings at speed are soaked right up, it turns/carves very well in stronger winds. I'm 215 lbs, if I was lighter I'd go 132 -136

Pj sofine wow, your input really concerns me now.
Im 195lbs and 6"5.
Since i thought im quite heavy and tall i was gonna go with the bigger board they have which is cf raptor extreme 142 x 43.
So being im 6'5" should i go with something smaller?
Should i go with the ltd instead?
Thanks im advance to you all guys!

IF you frequently ride in lighter wind, go for the bigger board. If you're frequently on the over powered side, go for the smaller. If you're worried about roughness and chop, you're not buying the Raptor Extreme or most freestyle boards. They're stiff as f***. Height only matters for stance width. All Raptor sizes have the same stance widths, so don't worry about your height.

The Raptor and Raptor LTD are the same shape as the Extreme, so should ride very similarly. Personally, I would go with the LTD because my knees wouldn't handle the stiffness of the Extreme. I also don't ride boots. The LTD is more of a direct comparison to the Jaime Textreme. If you're wanting to get into unhooking and boot riding on this board, then it'll be the Extreme or the plain Raptor.

To simplify:
Big wind = smaller board (41cm). Light wind = bigger board. (42/43cm)
Choppy conditions = LTD or base model. Flatwater = Extreme

I usually weigh around 190lbs at 6'1 but went down to 170lbs for my last big trip a couple months ago and was using the jaime textreme in 139x42. I am kiting for a bit over a year now and bought the board without testing it before. My riding level is probably intermediate now, can do 8-10m jumps of flat water, backrolls, basic strapless on a surfboard, baby kiteloops, heliloops, downloops.

Even weighing 170lbs (fit) and kiting in only a shorty, it was not a problem to hold the edge with the board. Only problems were when I was really powered on my 9m rebel and would send the kite fast from 10 to 12/1, then it would sometimes pull me over my edge but pretty sure that can be fixed with practice. Sending the kite from 11 to 12/1 for a jump was not a problem to hold the edge. Should probably also mention that I would not or only a click or two depower my kite (click bar). It is definitely easier to hold down power with not perfect technique on a 136x41 or 133x39 board, which I was using from friends during the trip from time to time but I still prefered my jaime in 139x42 over those boards.

The only thing that is not nice with the board is flat water chop, ocean chop is no problem. Well, at least I did not enjoy how the board was in flat water chop in 25-35 knots. It always gives good feedback from the water and if you bump over a lot of stuff (chop), you'll feel that a bit more, probably because of the bit of carbon that is in there. When you manage to pop correctly it is amazing, board starts gliding pretty early, fun to "surf" some waves with it and very easy to just cruise downwind, very nice in powered carves, hot landings are easy to take. My left knee is a bit damaged from an inury 10 years ago but the board is not rough on the knees in my opinon.

Board is very light and the 2020 straps are better than the 2019 imo and I wouldn't worry about the straps breaking and even if they do, looks like duotone will give you a replacement.

I agree with this summary below.
I'm 250lbs and the 140 is my first choice every time.
I had the 136 too for a while and needed much more wind, or certainly wind without lulls.
At 195lbs I'd be thinking of the 136 unless you have too many marginal wind days.

Good thing it has the 3 year warranty, eh? Base looks a bit abused. What did you hit?
