Raptor:

No other comments. Sorry.
Good thing it has the 3 year warranty, eh? Base looks a bit abused. What did you hit?
My thought also, I've landed countless jumps in the worst positions, mega loops gone really bad, powered front roll downloops where the landings on toeside have broken the area in front of foot on previous boards. But there's always the chance that you receive a board with some internal weakness due to manufacturing/materials issues.

Don't know the Raptor, but the Jaime is much more sold and I ride it for 3 years now and love it very much.
That's why I just bought the new 20202 Jaime Textreme 136cm (82kg) with the Entity Ergo bindings. Awesome board. Excellent pop which gets you easily 10-15 meters high..
Check the tests if you can't test yourself! Jaime Textreme 2020 is a top 3 board of all 2020 boards and the Raptor is not in top 3. Test and try and you will know...
Cheers

I'm curious as to where you saw this test/review? I want to see this board pop that will get you 10-15m without small rocket underneath.

Raptor pro, without a doubt. I use crazyfly boards for years, excellent durability! Totally recommend!
Duotone seems more “plastic” by the way...

If you pay 5 euro's you can get the most extensive 2020 kite gear test from the kitemag. There you can read it! And I went out today in NL on the 2020 Textreme (20-35 knots) and it is absolutely awesome. Mega pop, very lose in turns and still soft landings after your jumps... But I would test it and then you will be convinced :D

Hello, I am 185 pounds 6.1ft and I'm not sure what size to get on the Crazyfly raptor the 136 or the 140 any suggestion?
Thanks.

Raptor extreme is the best board so far I ever had , broke my Raptor Pro and got this one instead . way more grip , amazing on choppy water !

I had exactly the same dilemma about 4 months ago, in the end I went with the Raptor Extreme 135 (coming from Shinn Monk) and have nothing but love for it. I've not found it overly stiff when landing or in chop, I hold down power really well and controlled and is quite a fast board, so really helped to improve my jumping. I also like the pads / straps, works well for my foot shape, feeling very locked in without having to really jam my feet into them, though not used it without wetsuit boots yet, I hope barefoot will be even better.

My only concern with the Raptor Extreme is the 'Glide Skin' bottom coating, its quite an interesting concept with microchannels / grooves running the length of the board... However, these small groves can be easily dented if you drop your board on a beach pebble, as I found out on my very first session on it! Probably doesn't affect the performance at all, but just to note, be gentle with it!

The photo posted by downunder is a bit confusing. Looks like the top surface of the board (as the bottom is all coral coloured, not carbon) but weirdly there is a mark from a fin? Like the fins were put on the top side for some reason, but I think it's actually a different board, the Crazyfly Elite?
