Guess it was a partnership between Neil Pryde and Cabrinha.
Not sure how actually the ownership was...anyone?

So, Pete does not own anything of the Cabrinha brand?

And why would NP sell it ?
Maybe it didn’t run well...and got a good offer from Jon?

If so, good move from everyone involved.

Wondering if they bought everything including the manufacturing facilities as I think Cabrinha was one of the only brand owner of their manufacturing plant

ok, got info, that Pete didn't own Cabrinha before...now he owns part of the brand with Jon together

"Pete Cabrinha along with Water Bound Investments, led by former professional kitesurfer and long-time Cabrinha professional athlete Jon Modica have partnered in the purchase and future development of the Cabrinha brand assets."

cabrinha was part of the neil pryde group (neil pryde,cabrinha,jp Australia),now sold,rumors say that neil pryde had(has) some problems and had to sell,expected from the day peter announced that he moved the headquarters back in maui last year,anyway these are good news for the company.

I would imagine their windsurfing business has declined alot. Is Neil Pryde a big name in the sailing world? Good luck to them cabrinha has made some great kites over the years. I still think my highest jump ever was on a 16m crossbow in 20knots
