My takeaways,

Gold for better uv protection

Ocean rodeo is the developer

They seem to have a pretty good team working on this.

No Aluula bladder in this first batch

Maybe aluula canopy down the road

One strut aluula with canopy could be very rigid

This may kickstart other manufacturers to come up with similar fabric products

Quantity production really just starting in Canada and limited production may limit use by other companies

Very good high wind performance

I can’t help but get a sense of deja vu all over again with the best cuben fiber kites

The best nemesis hp pro 10m had huge almost unlimited upper wind range.

Unlike what Mr. Myerscough said, the smaller diameter of the leading edge will require more psi to keep the kite from buckling. I used 13 psi on my Nemi hp.

And in the end, the torsional stiffness was an issue as kites need to flex at the tips to pivot.

I still haven’t heard how that will be addressed.

Well you aren't going to get significant performance boost from just making it lighter. For that you need to have higher AR, lower drag. Currently only foil kites offer this. Maybe what Bruno is working on will bring it, as I think the highest performing kites are carbon framed. So if you can make the tube diameter small enough you reduce the drag enough I guess. Till then I am surprised you don't spend more time on race style foil kites, the new sonic looks good. I am not saying switch just do some more riding on them. PM Armin for one

I flew a 10M Roam Aluula last week-end you do get a benefit from the reduced weight the kite being so light has a lot less inertia it makes everything smoother you barely feel the gusts in the bar and it's super responsive. In extreme light wind when kites are about to fall from the sky they become very unresponsive the Aluula kite doesn't do that. You basically get the weight of a foil kite with better rigidity than a regular inflated kite.
