Are there any differences between the stealth bar surf in 2019 and 2020?

I could be wrong, but I believe that the only difference is the price.

Just to give you a short update, the 240mm one was indeed a little too small. I had too much spare webbing and this favoured the spreader bar to move up during jumps especially. I also noticed that my C1 was quite worn out already so I changed to a Majestic in medium and a 280mm bar, all fine now. Awesome harness.
In my opinion the wings of the stealth bar were a little to large for the Dakine C1 (2017 model). Not sure whether the pockets on the newer Dakines are larger.
Thanks for all your tips, though.

Hey guys has anyone had any issues with the stealth spreader causing chafing?
I’ve just got a Majestic with the stealth and really find the harness to be very comfortable but the stealth I’m not sure yet.
Yesterday I had the adjustments a bit loose and it moved around a bit, so today I cranked it tighter to a point where I have to suck my gut in a bit so I could lock the mechanism. So on a 11mt in 25kts it didn’t hardly move....even on toeside backflip.... pretty impressive.
But only 1/2 hour in I started to get a bit of pain around the spreader bar area and got worse as the sesh went on. It’s definitely caused chafing around my gut area even with a rashie on.
Anyone else had this issue??
First time I’ve ever had this happen

Yep I had way too tight. Went out today in 18kts and a good 2+hrs. No problem.
Backed off the adjustment straps and I used a 2mm rashie as I was still a bit tender from yesterday.
Stealth worked really well, locks you in and doesn’t ride up at all. Even after a few hours on the water still didn’t ride up.
If you get one just don’t crank it up too tight other wise you will get a nasty rash and you will scare the shit out of yourself when you see your reflection in the car window....”bloody hell where did that jam donut come from”

It feels like pretty much everything is covered in this thread.
For simplicity here is the recommended bar to harness fit (for Mystic harnesses)
240mm Bar: Men's XS (Women's XS and S)
280mm Bar: Men's S and M (Women's M and L)
320mm bar: Men's L, XL, XXL
As stated in the thread already the goal is to not have the straps too long and this gives more movement for the bar.
On occasion people will use a larger bar than recommended above. This will reduce the amount of webbing and could give a more locked in feel but some care should be taken to make sure the bar is not too big or you won't be able to get the straps tight enough.
Regarding comments of over-tightening, this can definitely happen. The locking mechanism provides a powerful closure and you could definitely get the bar tighter than traditional straps. For me I used the same bar and harness from the end of the summer through to the end of season. Once I got the fit right I don't think I changed my straps until my last session of the year wearing my thickest suit.

@SolarSet
There is no dedicated hook on stealth bar to attach the leash. You can attach it to the harness webbing/straps, best when using an D-ring.

I just use a leash connector such as this on the lower webbing on the left (fixed) side of the harness (I have some old Cabrinha ones).

There are indeed plenty of DIY options to attach the leash. Pictured below is the Adaptive Leash Attachment which is $8USD and is included in all the 2019 and 2020 shell harnesses.
