Honestly, it looks like Bill Gates might be scared of this one given his age and likely susceptibility to this virus. He can do the same math as me. But he also has to work within the realm of apparent sanity. Thus, I would say that he is a bit low with his estimates, should some of the unknowns come in at a higher number then currently expected.

I would bet that Bill Gates along with a number of other billionaires are in their bunkers with their own private medical facilities. I don't blame them.

I don't think they enjoy that anymore than we do.

Last weekend in usa were 60k infected, this weekend 127k, next will be around 200k, after next 400k. Is is exponental tendency. So after one month will be definitely near 1 milion of they will not close country totally. It means 3-6 percents of deaths - what will be around 40k. I think after 1-2 months in usa will be lot more tragic situation than in Italy.

This is going to be very sad. Toby I truly hope your mother recovers fully.

It is unlikely any of us are going to come away from this without direct loss.

I hope we can all learn quickly when and what sacrifices to our freedoms and liberties are sound choices in efforts to minimize everyone's loss.
