ION c-bar question

Postby spacemonkey » Thu Mar 12, 2020 11:12 am

Quick question about the c-bar.
I like using waveboard and TT in the same session. Normally don't have a lot of time.
So i was looking at the c-bar, using the rope for wave and fixed hook for TT.

Do you need to remove the fixed hook in order to use the rope? I don't want to bother with unscrewing the hook...

From my experience, you have to remove the hook. The hook impedes with the attachment (CL) when it's sliding on the rope. It's actually pretty quick to remove and there's a (correct fitting) hex key attached to the knife if you have their harness, but I'll admit it would be nice to see a s-bar that allows both to function at the same time. If the rope was on top vs the front, I think it would work much better.
Note: There's NO knife on the C-Bar, so make sure to get another knife if upgrading. Eezycut is the best...https://eezycut.com

Yep, you have to remove.
