I also use sentinel bar. Typically I ride overpowered and I'm not going all that easy on my gear. However I do put an effort to take care of it.

If you try to get the most wear out of your gear than consider that the only "problem" I have with sentinel bar is hard plastic swivel cover.

To change your depower line takes a little persuasion and that's on a good looking cover. I regularly beat and wear down the round corners around left and right rope openings to the point that, coupled with rope fray, it just becomes next to impossible to pull the rope out and save the cover. So on second depower rope change I just don't bother and I install new rope and cover. If you're buying brand replacement parts than cost for parts is something to be considered.
