wondering if anyone has ever flown hyde strutless kites? void? they dont publish the weights so i'm curious how they compare to ufo or gong?
thanks in advance
Dano lived in China for many years managing production of kites and bars, so he knows both design and manufacturing better than most kite designers.
It'll be great to see what he comes up with in the next few years.
Any guesses? Maybe a new "game changer". Getting prices down would make me happy. Or maybe a $40 bare bar (58-60cm) or $40 functioning chicken loop release. Those two things are actually needed.
Why do you troll so much. If I knew nothing that would be interesting. But I certainly know something, more than you, so how much does that make you know?
You will find that Dano's kites had the often complaint they didn't turn fast enough for the flat water crowd aka "wave" riders. Anyway what is the kites you mainly use now again?
This might help you, or at least others understand you.
Foilholio, you are slipping again. Gonna need another screen name again.
I think he is off his meds. Or time to up the dosage.
If anyone has questions or is interested in Hyde Kites I'm importing them into North America along with Dano's brand DSD MFG. I'm stuck in Canada right now but once the border opens up I'll be able to get to Hood River and some other spots for demos.
Hyde owns the factory and make kites and wings for a number of other companies. Between owning the factory and not having an expensive pro team they are able to keep prices down for the consumer. With Dano designing the gear the price-performance ratio is unmatched. For example the Hyde Jinx is an evolution of the BWS kites that Dano designed so if you're looking for a wave weapon this one might be the golden ticket.
