Norway still open. Maybe I'm too optimistic, but it seems like the number of new infections have stabilized. If so I don't think the beaches will be closed.

In the UK we can go out to exercise but with no un-necessary travel so no travelling to beach be car. I think most kitesurfers who live near the beach aren't going out to prevent any un-necessary risk and therefore demand on our NHS.

In Germany, beaches are open in principle. But you aren´t allowed to gather in groups of more than two individuals in general. Hence, you´d have to go to a "lonely" beach alone, or with maximum one kite buddy. And traveling activities are prohibited now, with the exception of commuting to work or to buy food / pharmaceuticals. This would mean that travelling to a beach for kitesurfing is actually illegal now. But I think the risk of getting caught is low.
And: All islands (North Sea, Baltic Sea) are closed for non-residents completely.

All, please: Let us know when the situations at your local beaches change! This is of great help to plan upcoming holidays.

Belgium, no water sports allowed.
Beaches are open but you cannot go to the coast unless you live there

Not the entire country, the USA is pretty big and diverse, however in Illinois we are not supposed to travel except for essentials, so that cuts out kiting, plus our little local lake is closed to all activity. I would be willing to break the rules and go kiting solo, but there isn't anywhere attractive to go as Cape Hatteras is closed to visitors. The big lakes here like Michigan are still too cold, the Gorge is not on yet, and I am not keen on Texas. I suppose I could kite other beaches on the east coast, living out of my van and social isolation, but for now I'm hunkered down at home.

British Virgin Islands have closed the borders for all entries to try and keep the islands COVID-19 free.
No reported cases (yet) but the country is in semi-lockdown and no gatherings of more than 20 people are allowed.

luckily for us kiters there are barely 20 kiters on the island

Damn! That sounds rather positive, the whole island to yourself!
