I use sail racer . It doesn't measure jumps but for the rest is nice
I'm also starting development of a kitesurfing dedicated Garmin app for people without WOO. Everyone please feel free to request the features you would like to see there. Thanks
My main KPIs when kitesurfing are:
- Current Activity Durantion
- Current Actvity Distance
- Time of day (17:52)
- Pace
- Last tack distance/speed
- Average pace

Thanks! Is there an app that currently provides "Last tack distance/speed" ?

The ones I've seen are for windsurf:
https://apps.garmin.com/es-ES/apps/a938 ... 75aa3dbe2c
Being honest, I look that one afterwards, a bit like segments on strava.

The only thing that bothers me about the Woo Garmin APP is the inability of to pause it while doing a break at the beach.
It has only the option to stop & save or stop& discard... hence i finish with 3 diferent sensions and I lose track of total duration, total distance of that particular day, and makes it more dificult to share with m8.And if I do not stop it, it skeews the km/ph ratio and total time on the water.
I just published a big update to WOO Garmin app. Added a bunch of features requested by different users (including pausing). Look out for version 1.9.4, it should be released in IQ Store soon
:
Version 1.9.4 (current)
- Added PAUSE / RESUME session functionality. Press Enter button - PAUSE added to the Save/Exit menu.
- Added new setting "Inverse Screen Colors" to have white background during the session (changes to black after a jump).
- Speed can be displayed in Knots and M/S now (change in app's settings)
- Added "Reset WOO connection" option - press MENU button to see a new pop-up menu.

Tested and the pause button it's working like a charm!! No more splitted sessions.
THANK YOU so much

That's great, looking forward to see it !
I am using kite metrics at the moment.
I found JMG-APP Wind-Kite Surfing too complex and with too much clutter

Thanks! I'm not sure when I will actually work on the pure kitesurfing app - without WOO connection it isn't that interesting. I can do a bit better interface than existing solutions, but I can't beat flexibility of native Garmin apps. We tried to work with Garmin on creating a native kitesurfing activity, but they have gone silent
. I'll keep you posted.

Couple updates:
- Pure kitesurfing app for Garmin will be released soon (no WOO necessary). I tried to incorporate in it everything I could think of. Any suggestions are wellcome
!
- The existing WOO app for Garmin was updated to include Map view (for WOO compatible watches with installed map only)
