Any info about weight 9 and 11 Reach kites?
My 2021 9m Reach just came in, and my kitchen scale shows 2,783 Kg. Dunno what that is in freedom stones... 1.89 cheekballs? 34.98 corns?

Doesn't anyone have any leaked info about the changes in 2022 model? According to dealer in my country there will be quite a lot of small changes, unlike Orbit 2022, Reach has changed quite a bit hence there is price rise

Hahahahah, why would changes warrant a price hike? When it was a new model the price may have been higher to pay for the initial design cost, did it become cheaper later to warrant a new price increase?
The MSRP of a product has everything priced in from the beginning - salaries for the designers, production, marketing and profits.
They will increase the prices because they can, maybe also because it may cost them a bit more to produce (not sure if their costs are static in these corona times).

I'm okay to pay more for new model if it has significant upgrades otherwise they should keep price same if you don't change something there is no R&D cost etc,. I'm still thorn between Reach and Supermodel and both of these should be available mid march.

Does anyone have experience with differences between the model years of the North Reach in 2020 VS. 2021 in 12m?
I can get a good deal on a 12m from 2020 and was wondering if there is any real notable difference between the gen. 1 Version and the model revision.

I have the 2021 12m. I also have the 2020 9m and 7m. Granted they are different sizes, but I haven't noticed any flying characteristics that are any different other than the ones associated with different sizes (steering response). Maybe if you are professional or advanced you could tell a difference. I cannot. From what I recall, there was no change to the kite design, just a lighter bladder was used. I think from 2020 to 2021, the only kite that was significantly changed was the Orbit because some users complained that the 2020 front stalled too easily.
That said, you might want to wait for the 2022 to be released. If it does undergo a big design change, you may find an even better deal on previous year kites.

Hi,
I currently have Bandit 2015 6, 9, 12m and found that the gap between 6-9 is to big.
Weight 80Kg an ride small wave side, side-on, onshore wiind and twintip jumping.
Windrange 15 to 42knots in gust
Looking for a North reach quiver i'm thinking of 2 sets.
6, 8, 11m reach or 7, 9, 11m reach quiver.
Witch would be the best for the total windrange and ridingstyle?
I see that te high-end for 6 and 7m is 34 knots, that seems 'low' because my bandit 6m handles tils 40knots.
Thanks

The windrange for kites companies put on their sites are just suggestions. For your weight, you'll definitely want the 7m for 40kn. Although, if you don't plan to use it for anything other than high wind on a TT, an Orbit would be better suited for that type of riding.
