i am also interested in this, and maybe a comparison to something similar, like the edge.

First they discontinued NRG (I liked that kite), are they selling now the rest off and going to discontinue p1 too?

Phoneix is the new p1.
LF has new designer.
P1 was awesome at hang hard to beat with high boost though the kites like Orbit or xr5 beat it for height.
The phoneix looks like it will be a screamer hopefully like the nrg

I bought 9m P1 from you-love-it discount (588€ to home - and they delivered it fast. Have read a lot bad experiences too). The wind was quite light today (woo 7.7m) but so far I liked the kite. I'm a fan of of high AR hangtime kites and I had and have Naish draft, flysurfer boost, switch nitros, lf nrg.
The projected AR looks smaller than AR of boost or nrg.
The kite was quite fast to turn, faster than the same size boost.
P1 landings were smooth but I felt it required a little more attention to kite position compared to boost.

So far I'm happy with it and especially because it was cheap. I hope more windy days to try its high end.

P.S. Liquid force bags are still too small

I have bought off you love it.eu too and been very happy with them.

At the price stated above shipped to your home it's hard to complain 👍

I have a few P1 but I'm not overly happy with them. Suppose they are out of my league and I hope to grow into them. For me, they turn strangely, they whip up in zenith almost behind me and out of sight. Then come falling down on the other side with no power. And the wind range is rather narrow. I suppose I'm not flying them actively enough (what ever that would mean). I prefer my kites to sit a little deeper and deliver a more even pull through the turns. But I suppose they are good for jumping. But not for cruising. Over here they are sold at 65% discount. Suppose that is saying something about the popularity.
