Very nice QR. Maybe the name may result a little bit scaring in this period...

When I saw that there was a version of this QR with a shackle with 6mm pin I was certain this would work with the wheels I have, so I ordered one.
To avoid having something rope could get caught on I replaced the QR 6mm shackle pin with a slotted 6mm shackle pin which is a flush fit (all these shackles seem to have the same standard threads), then put a Dynabar type Delrin wheel on the 6mm pin. I did have to open up the shackle jaws about 3mm to make the wheel fit, but that took a few seconds. There is more than enough clearance for 5mm Dyneema rope.
I have a Mystic Stealth rope bar so it's not difficult to see where this part will be going.
(As ever, when the QR is installed on the rope the shackle pin must have a touch of blue Loctite on the thread to ensure that it will not come undone).

Why not just upload it the normal way - click on Attachments below the message editor, add the file and then add it to the message

Nice mod, any idea of the wheel dimensions and a possible source to buy in bulk? Maybe I can offer it as an option.
