@Aspiremr,
Not Evan ... but I think I can answer your question.
The seatbelt quick release has a leash anchor point on the main body on the kite side of the swivel, so you attach the end of your leash that is currently attached to your harness, to the marked SS ring.

Thus the leash should no longer get wrapped around the depower line when the kite is looped.
Hope this is clear?
Thanks Faklord,

I think that is clear. Hence the micro-leash that is also available?

So rather than have a leash to my harness, the micro-leash runs from that loop you circled, to the ring at the end of the kite depower / front lines. Each time I loop, the micro-leash rotates with the entire quick release mecahnism to untwist the front lines.

If I’ve got that right, then it is perfect.

Thanks
MR
You have got it right. You only need a very short leash.

Made my own version from scratch, although it looks quite similar:

My adjustmenst after a few iterations:
-more reliable to print in PETG
-lighter, more compact
-better grip
-tight fit for the rings to make an even better connection
-open front to ease the installation of the rope

Side by side:
Looks really good, just ordered! 8)
But I've heard nothing since ordering over a week ago ...

They have just arrived, beautifully made, thank-you!

Will be out tomorrow! 8)

Edit: have converted the first bar.

(ION Echo seat harness with Mystic Stealth rope spreader bar and modified Ozone "Short Safety Leash". As described earlier, the pulley was originally from a Jaystore Dynabar, but now printed by Shapeways.com. And yes, the rope is a bit scruffy but still perfectly serviceable).

How close was the bar on your previous setup?

About 9"/23cm but without the centre line swivel, of course.

Previous setup was also push-away but each bar (I have 3 bars) had a QR attached.

Now been out ~10 times. Absolutely faultless and a joy to use.

As I see it, your setup is pull in, correct?

Plus the rope. Not sure but looks looking for trouble imo.

Not sure what you are referring to here, something about a specific post, or the infexion release in general: it is a rotating, push-away release system which is permanently attached to the harness not the bar, and permits a secondary release for the flag out line. It will also release when the line is not under load. I am not sure whether there is another setup with this combination of features, so if they are the features you want, then this is the thing!

Mate,

The above pic is not a push away, or Im blind...

Cmon. Im not referring to a ring tho, but a jaw.

So when is released it would be super hard to put it back since pulling in is not easy even with two hands.

But, each to his own I guess...
