great, they finally arrived! Shipping outside Europe sadly takes a lot longer these days...downunder wrote: Congrats to Evan who supplied about 10 releases to Australia Perth racers!
Indeed a top quality product! Shame, Im not the one who ordered, but might in a due course.
Well done!
Sorry, didn't find a better solution yet. A small bottle of water is enough to rinse and otherwise you can go for the standard version as those also spin quite effortless, although not automatic. A good spray with a can of silicone lubricant after each session can also get rid of the salt water.

But rinsing should be standard practice as eventually every stainless steel parts will rust when left damp from salty water in your car after each session as drying salt water will give the leftover droplets a very high concentration that sadly collects inside the ball bearing and other small gaps.
You make a great point - used silicone spray for years when sailing dinghies but somehow never carried that over to kiteboarding. I will now!evan wrote: āThu Sep 10, 2020 1:40 pmSorry, didn't find a better solution yet. Dear Evan - thanks and this is indeed a very interesting solution. However, I can''t see from the picture how the two interlocking loops have been created. Is there a video / drawing with more details? I have received your quick release and just tested it. - Tom
