Slider spreader options for Dakine Fusion Small

Hi,
I normally use a Dakine Pyro harness with the Dakine Option slider but recently ran into some medical issues which necessitate that I, at least temporarily, switch to a seat harness. I purchased a small 2018 Dakine Fusion that I found at a reasonable price. Problem is it comes with the hammerhead spreader bar which I do not like. I don't see the Option slider offered anywhere but I also do not think that it is the best slider design (at least the model that I have). Does anyone have suggestions for what other slider spreaders would be compatible with that harness and hopefully do not cost an arm and leg?

Do you want a hook like Dynabar or just rope? Cos you can DIY a rope slider yourself...

Why not just use the option bar you have?

I personally like the mystic stealth bar. I use it on my dakine Vega seat harness.

I could but it would be nice to not have to deal with switching out the bars in case I want to let someone borrow the other harness, switch out due to pressure points early in the season, etc.

I have a hook on the option but I don't mind trying a rope. I actually have an old hammerhead that the hook broke off of and was toying with the idea of converting it to a slider. Any good How-to's out there that you could refer me to? I was thinking of drilling a hole near each side of the bar and running rope through it but I'm worried that the rope will get cut by the holes, even if I file them out nicely. I've already had that hook break off on me during a jump and that wasn't fun... almost took my nose off.

Mystic's 2018 Clickerbar 4.0 Surf s-bar will fit on the Fusion. You can find them on sale for around $50

Ion's 2019 C-Bar Rope Slider s-bar is also compatible and should be on sale. You can remove the hook on this s-bar...

I didn’t like the ion original rope slider because there is no latching lever.

The mystic is the best one on the market right now, I believe.

The wings will slide into the power belt opening on the dakine fusion

Thanks again all, appreciate the help. That Mystic Stealth spreader is the shizzle but it costs almost as much as I paid for the harness. Hopefully I'll get lucky and manage to snag one of the cheaper options y'all mentioned. Wish there was a price watcher app for kiteboarding sites like camelcamelcamel.com for AMZN.

In the meantime I'm going to try one of the DIY options from the thread that Breze suggested.

I’ve used one in a Fusion for years. I use Dakine webbings hooks on both ends...

If you don’t need the sliding hook, just grind off the hook, then knot rope at each end of the spreader bar -- no need to drill anything...

I just don't trust the CL going straight into the rope, and a Ronstan ring means having to remove the donkey dick

What do you mean webbing hooks on both ends? Do you have a photo that you could throw up on here? Also, I do have a small ring that came some kiting stuff (don't remember where)... was thinking I could put the CL through that. Any suggestions on the proper way to attach the rope to each end of the spreader (ie. what knot to use) so it doesn't come undone during a boost?
