Please help reopening Cabarete. Answer just question

Postby stephduche » Sun May 10, 2020 10:19 pm

Quick question to the community as we're trying to engage the authorities to get watersports allowed again in Cabarete, DR.

Please post ONLY if your answer is POSITIVE. Thank you!

If you're allowed to kite or surf in your spot (or any other spot you're aware of anywhere in the world), please post:
-spot name
-town
-country

Thank you very much! 🙌

Sweden, all spots/ beaches open.
Works here, it is sparsely populated.

( please don't rant and rave about sweden not locking down, you don't have the facts. More than half the deaths in sweden are due to virus getting into aged care homes, which are large here, and employees bringing it in. That's a different story you can rant about.)

Barbados from 6am to 9am daily. Beaches are only open during those times for exercise. At least we can go for a morning session....

Ottawa, Canada. Parks had been closed except for walking through. Now open parking lots and water access OK as of May 9. Social distancing still continues though

Massachusetts one of the hardest hit spots in the US...Parking lots at most beaches are closed, but not all . If you can get to the water there is no problem kiting.

The Netherlands, all beaches are open for kiteboarding. Most of the large Parking lots are closed, to keep away the masses who want to go for a walk, etc. Kiting has never been a problem. The Netherlands focuses on 1.5 meter social distancing.
