Hey all !
I have seen the pictures of the 2 kites here:
V10
https://www.thekiteboarder.com/2020/04/ ... -edge-v10/
V9
https://www.thekiteboarder.com/2018/03/ ... e-edge-v9/
Is it possible that with the V10 they have reduced the aspect ratio making it less racey and lifting?
Someone has used both please can give his impressions?
(please refer size tested and wind ranges if possible)
thank you all!
Best!

Sad if ozone made new edge more all-rounder with less AR - they already have many beginner friendly kites.
But hard to say from the pictures.
I wish all the kite brands would share all the numbers on their website like flysurfer do.

ok, from what I read here is still the good Edge with some refinement...

probably the pictures of TKB are taken from different angles that make seam the V9 more long and slim

Hello
I have been on edge v9 10 for 3 years
Ride the V10 10 for 2 weeks now
V10 is softer on the bar- handle stronger wind -jump maybe higher than the V9 but will glide less on the way down !!
Main issue with the V10 seems to be the water relaunch in light wind Last session i neither had so much trouble relaunching a kite for 15 years !! Maybe something tangle in the briddle that went away after 10 minutes of hard work ..
It is very rare that my kite fall in the water so i can t confirm if it is general but the V9 was easy to relaunch . Any others riders experience the hard relaunch for V10 ?
Cheers
