The World Health Organization has said that wearing a mask does not good, and some authorities say they may increase the risk of infection.
Other authorities say to wear a mask.
We Americans are an unruly (literally) bunch, who like to make up our own minds. When we see different authorities telling us different things, we make up our own minds, and resent anyone telling us what to do.

I have a mask on , when i'm out near other people . It doesn't protect ME
from the bug ; but other people feel more secure , if they think i might
cough or sneeze. So what's the big deal ; why are some posters here
getting so fricken angry about it ? I don't get it ?

the best part is people who wear a loose fitting mask then move it out of the way anytime they talk to you lol. Now I know why condoms don't work.

I think mostly because they're annoying, uncomfortable, unnecessary, and ineffective. People are getting fed up with this fear mongering and are no longer willing to do these kind of things just to make others "feel" better. This state of nanny needs to stop. It's my decision what I want to wear, not yours or anyone's elses. I'm sorry if it makes you feel uncomfortable but frankly I could care less.

I wore a mask today when I ordered a beer and pizza inside. The people working there wore masks too. So I did it out of respect for them and other customers.
I wore a mask in Costco because they require it.
Our county does not require masks but allows businesses to require them.
I have no problem wearing my shirt and shoes in a restaurant.
I also stop at stop signs, and don’t park in no parking spots.
I am fully aware I have freedom of speech in my country but I refrain from yelling obscenities in public.
I do not consider these limitations or as an assault on my freedom, rather, they are part of the responsibility of a citizen and a member of society.

You have a GREAT attitude !!!
I got two fake legs , and could get a handicap sticker if i wanted , (and didn't) ; i feel
that as long as i can carry my paraglider up a 1000-ft hill, then i'll leave those convenient
empty spaces , to the people who really Need them .
