Make a video for us showing the prove of contrary showing the kite without any drag when it is in the safety.
Mostly it looks like that:

Oh ffs.

The people sniping don’t fly the fucking kites in the first place, will any bar work on any kite? No
There are quirks , hi or low V single or double front line flag, Full distance flag out with no stopper.

That’s the point he was making that it’s NOT advisable to grow any combo together and expect perfect functionality.

No, that is self evidently NOT the point he was making. :nono:

.. using a bar from another manufacturer is rarely a good idea with any brand ...

Isn't Core the last brand that still clings to their proprietary flagout system instead of a single line flagout?

There must be a reason all the others switched isn't it. ;)

So what point do you think he is making? Kites will explode if not used with a core bar?

Or are you saying there is 100% bar functionality across ALL brands?

Try something in between those two ludicrous extremes.

The point I was making and you can ask any brand, they'll tell you their kites are optimised to be used by their bars, which you 'experts' will naturally decry as bullshit, but you can bleat all you like. I've sold three key brands over the years, North, Slingshot and Core since 1999, thousands of kites to thousands of customers and everytime I'd say the same, buy the bar from the brand that builds the kites. If you are good and know enough to design, build a custom bar to your own liking a la Lenten, when he hated Slingers below the bar depower, then the last place he'd be looking for advice is from this forum, sorry... The advice stands, 99% of readers of this place would be better advised to stick to the same brand whatever it is for control bars for a given kite. Not bullshit, fact, live with it.

This must be more of that BS you were talking about being on internet forums. Hey I bet if I was selling kites I would probably push the same idea in order sell brand new bars myself. Your statement is bullshit and nowhere near a fact. The only thing that matters is it compatible with the flag out system, 4 vs 5 lines, and are the lines the same length.

Don’t make the mistake and underestimate the users.

Many times I saw it the other way around...there are some pretty detailed and passionate guys out there who have a vast knowledge.

Like you. Like me.

Well here's a little challenge for all you keyboard experts. Get your hands on a Nexus 2. Fly it with every other brands bar you can lay your hands on, then fly it with what I'd recommend which is the Core Pro bar, then come and tell me I'm wrong. Action talks, bullshit walks, oh and lets have a little side bet on it shall we? Find a bar from another builder that flies the kite better and I'll eat my words.
