No Toby, it’s not a mission to discredit you at all.
UK Tax year is April to April. The UK is due to transition to a state of employing contract negotiators to create trade deals in December - assuming more political shenanigans don't take place before then
+1 I did think that Core was a "good" company and I know someone who knew the owners from his days back in Sri Lanka - but this thread appears to call into question their business efficacy, on the basis of their suggested associations
Well, that's a different issue isn't it? That's Core trying to sell their bars to any and everyone, far be it from me to deny or call that out, but it wouldn't be my personal advice. This whole diversionary red herring came about because I made the statement that flying a bar from another manufacturer of any brand is rarely a good idea. So yes of course I could double down and blindly say except Core bars they are so wonderful they'll fly everything. But that would be bullshit. The KISS advice is stick within a given brand unless you really know your shit, kite and control bar. That's not to say you can't do it, but like I said earlier, its rarely a good idea.TheJoe wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 12:23 amThis is from Core's website. Notice the last 7 words. Hell even Core says your full of BS Captain.

Hell but you will just double down and say every kite just flies better with a Core bar now.
You don't know what you're talking about.
So we can all talk amongst ourselves ?jumptheshark wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 12:47 amHey Captain, if your so up front, why all the aliases?

Educate yourself about import duties/tariffs, which are taxes. Then consider how a UK company currently importing kite equipment from another country in the EU will very likely have to start paying import duties/tariffs when it leaves the EU (and the EU customs union, obviously).
PS - The default position is that the UK leaves the EU customs union on 31st December 2020 aka end of year.
