Thank you for bringing up this topic. I recall the hubbub about cf years ago and have been curious how Aluula would stack up to it. After Best, no one attempted to work with cf ever again in out sport.

You
might just be right.
...
For such a large kite my Flite 14.5 Aluula does turn pretty quickly.
...
Yes I know what Reece Myers Cough said and he also said the kites have a lot more low end, and I don’t thing that is proving to be completely true either.
...
Maybe the 14.5 is big enough that there is still plenty of torsional flex.
But I still haven’t seen how flex in the tips addressed with such a rigid material.
Having flown the 14.5 flite my 2 cents are that :
It is not so much more powerfull parked but that it flies faster allowing more power potential when driving the kite. Noticeable in the upstroke and offers a longer power stroke (window), or at last less of a power differential between down and upstroke.
The answer of the flex appears to be adressed by allowing flex between the strut and the main bladder. This can easily be witnessed holding the kite upside down and pushing up on the center strut (when handling the kite in marginal wind). There are flex band at the attachement points of the struts to the main bladder.
For those interested will add more Review comments in the aluula thread.

It seems that rebel will be only 'regular' this year year. Dice as well. Evo and neo will come in sls. But their regular verisions will be the same as 2020.

It is interesting to here that the evo 2020 is out of stock but part of the rationale given for not changing the evo was so that existing stock could be moved?
I suspect demand exceeded expectations. I’ve been reading the last couple of months have been exceptional for sales for the industry. Anything outdoors or health related seems to be in very short supply.
Go and try to by exercise Olympic weights.
I wonder when the 2021 new stock of regular evos/neos will be available.
Interesting not all sizes will be sls, from the German magazine.
