i think eleveight have same dacron in the one strut kite, Oseries, new light dacron.
Maybe, although Eleveight doesn’t mention that it is stiffer. Probably another material.
It seems we are going to see some more innovative materials popping up in the new light weight stronger stiffer arms race.

You can read it on the website that Eleveight uses a lighter stronger Dacron on the OS. I'm not sure if they are using it on the rest of the range, but they are claiming lighter kites, so they maybe using more of it this year.

Tested the Rebel 2019 the other day for the first time. Holy what a kite. That will definitely be on my list when the time comes to replace my current set of kites (the Rebel that is - not necessarily the 2019 version). Not a huge fan of the bar though (I hate the click bar, but obviously you got other options so the click wasn't the problem). A lot lighter than my Ozone, but didn't really feel it that much, if at all, when I was on the water (helps when travelling with less weight though). The problem for me was how it slides worse than my Ozone. Not a big issue, and I would probably get used to it, but I was a bit surprised with that part of the feel.
One question to Duotone users. Again not a big issue, but is it normal for these kites to not really deflate properly when opening the valve(s)? I remember many years ago when I had to "roll" the air out of the kite, but that is never an issue with my Ozones. Boom and the air is gone. That didn't happen with this so I had to carefully roll the kite towards the dump valve.
Not a huge fan of the Duotone graphics (who cares), but the 2020 grey looks really nice (would have been spectacular with less messy graphics). Hope that stays as a colour option if I end up buying 2021 Rebel.
If you wanted a lightly used 10m 2020 Rebel shoot me a message, I will be changing my kite soon.

Thank you for bringing up this topic. I recall the hubbub about cf years ago and have been curious how Aluula would stack up to it. After Best, no one attempted to work with cf ever again in out sport.

You
might just be right.
But in any case, Aluula is not Cuben.
For such a large kite my Flite 14.5 Aluula does turn pretty quickly.
Yes but cuben fiber like aluula has a high modulus of elasticity, aka very stiff.
I don’t care what it is made of, they have similar material properties in regards to stiffness.
The cuben fiber leading edge kites had small leading edges and reacted quickly sound familiar? But because the tips did not flex enough a powered kite would take a wide arc.
Yes I know what Reece Myers Cough said and he also said the kites have a lot more low end, and I don’t thing that is proving to be completely true either.
The 7m nemesis hp with cuben fiber was a pretty fast flying kite with a pretty thin leading edge and it would shoot you out of a cannon on a jump. The 10m nemesis hp had virtually unlimited top end.
Maybe the 14.5 is big enough that there is still plenty of torsional flex.
But I still haven’t seen how flex in the tips addressed with such a rigid material.

Good info from the German magazine.
Duotone Poland has some videos on Facebook.
This backpack design has me scratching my head. A zipper on the back? Just get rid of the zipper. It doesn’t belong on a kitebag!
And from the German magazine we see rhe new click bar in the cover.
Seriously white on the left? It’s gone from black to light blue to organige to white over the years. Would it be too hard to pick a color and stay with it?

I had a chance to try new Jaime SLS, briefly a new neo sls 9m (tho I do not know the old neo at all
).
Best news - new lines, 12 strands, still with that tracing tech, very thin and they look good
Sls material is also nice.
Bags would be ok - if they were not so small.
