Any news on Duotone 2021? I know it's a bit early but I am really eager to get the Dice (with new lines). My brother has the Dice and I like it the most compared to everything I tested. Not really convinced of the Naish Pivot/Dash.. unfortunately after 12 years of Naish
My Naish Torch is killing me in gusty hard winds, and hard winds is what I like lately. Not expecting a comfortable kite but the Dice is a little more forgiving compared to Torch in 7-8bft.
I was very close to get the Dice last year, but waiting for new and stronger lines!

Rebel, Dice, and Vegas are usually launched end August. Neo is normally September and Evo is October. Mono and Juice are...bah who cares.
Not sure what will happen this year with Covid-19. Anyone's guess really.

According to Eberle, nothing will happen in August. They will launch a few kites only in September this year (My guess is Rebel and Dice). Next batch will be in early 2021 and two of the kites will have a 2 year release cycle from now on (Evo and Neo). Reason is that they don´t want to flood the second hand market and that both Duotone and all shops still have a lot of 2020 kites stocked.

Cor, thanks for the info! I quite didn't understand about two year cycle on Neo and Evo, does it mean the current 2020 models will be the same for "2021 models" and then in 2022 there will be new models, please?

It is always good to stalk the designer for info on this. The first batch of prototypes apparently arrived for testing around 4 weeks ago.

Exactly, Neo and Evo 2021 will be identical with the current 2020 models.
That interview is very revealing and surprisingly open by Duotone. Great from the guys, from my point of view. It really changed my personal bias towards Duotone, to be honest.

For the non-German speakers, any other highlights to mention?

This interview is actually not about the kite models. It´s more about what a kiter´s responsibilities should be during the crisis, how Duotone reacts to that, how they want to make their products more sustainable and how they see the future in general.
