Hi all.
What are your thoughts
about the size of quiver on c kite, would 14-11 be to big of a jump or would 14-12 be better.
The total quiver would be
14-12-10 or 14-11-9.
Weight 66 kg.

14-11 better.
Will be easier to decide what to take.
When I had 8-10-12-14-16 I never knew what to take...

So to simplify, now it's 18-18-18-18, right?

At 66kg on c kites...... you need 7....9......11/12
If your not getting going on the 11/12 with a twin tip get yourself a surfboard and start to learn the basics of strapless.

14/11/9m.
There is not a big gap between 14 and 11. The 11m will fly the same as the 14m if you use a light wind board with it. You are better off having two boards. A large light wind and a normal one. Then you could get away with just the 11m and 9m. Save yourself a few quid.

In general, 14/11/9 will be better than 14/12/10. By calculating the percentage increases in kite area as you move from smallest to largest, you can analyze the choice more easily:
9 to 11 = 22% increase;
11 to 14 = 27% increase.
Quiver's kite area "range" : 9 to 14 = 55% increase.
10 to 12 = 20% increase;
12 to 14 = 16% increase.
Quiver's kite area "range": 10 to 14 = 40% increase.

The op specifically said c kites. 7....9...11 is your quiver.
Learning the basics of strapless will also teach you the float feeling and foot movement to crossover to hydrofoil should you ever wish to go down that route.
If you talk of c kites I assume your in a good wind location with pumping conditions that c kites thrive on.
