Optimum box Dimensions for shipping a kite to someone

I have to ship a kite.
Besides a box, are there shipping bags that could accommodate a kite and bag?---prolly not.
There has to be the optimum LxWxH that is the cheapest way to send something.I am going to try and put the kite in one of them vacuum bags and suck all the air out...
USPS-Priority, UPS, FEDEX?
