Ufo seems similar to cloud kites? Core xlite seems very light as well and one strut it has doesn’t seems to make a lot weight difference isn’t?
Im leaning towards xlite as I gave core bar which I like a lot at every other bar I saw seems worst
Xlite pros would be better lift at cost of drift?

Better lift in which sense? That's a kite for foiling and they usually drift more than jump!

The UFO/Cloud are extremely low aspect, this allows them to sit very deep in the window and drift almost as good as a Peak. Any higher aspect kite will sit further forward in the window, and fall forward easier when drifting down swell or waves, you will need to alter your line to maintain line tension.
This is the 4.8 cloud layer over the 5 mtr UFO, almost identical
So when looking at strutted of strutless, look at what you want to use it for. The UFO/Cloud kites are definitely not fast or good upwind and are harder to tack but shine off the wind. If off wind isn’t your thing maybe look at a higher aspect single or no strut like ultra or gong.

Can anyone using the UFO (or similar no strut for that matter) give tips on their method to relaunch one of the larger sizes (such as a 9m) that’s gone down on it’s trailing edge with canopy flooded? I’ve had no issue with the smaller sizes in this scenario where grabbing as high up on the front lines as possible has resulted in a simple hot launch. I’ve struggled to use this method with the larger kite in a light wind and it’s knocked my confidence somewhat. Any help/advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I haven’t done this on a 9m but on the ufo I’ve pulled on one of the steering lines until the wingtip is facing upwind. Then wind gets under the canopy and clears the water.
I also had a situation where I was standing on the bottom and had a current with the kite on its back. As soon as I walked toward the kite, the water cleared and I could relaunch.
I did go through a phase where I thought the kite would relaunch in less wind when you let it get to the side instead of trying to hot launch straight down wind by pulling the front lines,
My observation is that the ufo is easier than the cloud kite to relaunch because of its larger leading edge and the shape of the leading edge. But that might be wrong.
Good luck!

Try and sit on your board like a horse , mine goes under water to my waist but with practice its easy . Now your up higher and holding the lines up as high as possible with a little front line tension and at least 8 kts the leading edge should start to come up .

Purdyd is right
doesn't matter if the kite is right side up and flooded flat or even upside down and flooded. Suspend the kite downwind by one rear line enough to slack the other three. Hold it aloft while sitting on your board if possible. The wind will get under it and begin to fill the canopy. If its right way up, you just let it fill enough and then let go to let the other three lines tension and relaunch. If its upside down, keep holding the one rear line until the kite flips itself over and go from there.
light wind requires patience.

I've been using Cloud kites for over 3 years and I've decided to trade them for UFO V2.
the question is what would be ideal?
I have 3.7 4.8 6.2 8.0 clouds and I cover well from 9 to 30 knots
I just bought Ufo 3m, so I rip the quiver from there
The options would be:
A: 3-4-6-9
B: 3-5-7-9
C: 3-4-6-8
what do you think would cover that range of wind?
Weight 85 kg
Kanaha 37”
Moses 679/425
Thanks

What is your most used cloud size?

I think is the 8. A lot of 9/12 knots days.
But I use the others a lot too.
I like to be in the sweet spot of the kite windrange as much as I can.
