BGG, didn't think of that! The only thing is that the grip extends into the bar ends for a couple of mms, so to avoid a gap under them I took them off and extended the grip to butt up to them.

Based on the comment of Billy I gave the hockey grip tape a try! Do not have the selffusing tape yet but its on its way, used electrical tape and I could put the end under the floater part! Ended up much better then it was! Btw I left the fingergrip on the bar which makes it even better!

This is my bar with duck tape, worked as well.

And now added bike tape. Let’s see how long this will last.

Tested the new bar grip yesterday! The hockey grip tape worked perfect! Even a little too perfect but thats probably something I neer to get used to. The amalgamating tape I put on did came loose a bit while kiting but this could be because of not putti g it up correctly! Anyway perfect set up for the foreseeae future thanks!

hockey tape is awful, too hard. Get the bicycle tape, get either "Cork" or fake cork whatever it is. Bicycle tape doesn't hold really well on the ends, so I usually do a few wrap of hockey tape there. Cork or fake cork bicycle tape is incredibly smooth grippy, wonderful stuff. Hockey tape is gooey and hard. It will be a little expensive to get the cork bicycle tape but it will do several warps and is well worth it.
