Eleveight CS vary: v3 2021 vs old model

Anyone knows if Eleveight changed anything on their control bar for 2021? It looks exactly the same as in 2020.

I wish they would have changed the swivel at least.

I found this description but i cannot figure out if they correspond to improvements for 2020 model or from 2020 model:
Changes for 2020
- New single depower line with a strong inner core and spliced Spectra cover for enhanced durability, less friction, better feedback, and higher comfort.
- New red line swivel below the QR to untwist the red line for tangle-free usage.
- New spliced line ends for stronger connection and longevity with exchangeable pigtails

Has anyone cs 2020 model to see how long is the actual depower throw? It looks quite short compared to other models.

Thank you very much in advance

The bar looks pretty much the same apart from some durability upgrades, the throw is adjustable with a screw so if you want less throw you can just set the bar at the distance you like, good bar and great lines

I like a good amount of throw, but I haven't found I've needed to adjust the throw on the Cs bar. It's pretty generous as is. The lines on the E8s are some of the best I've seen.

Thanks for your reply. My Airush bar after 7 years is on the end of the rope.

E8 bar is serious candidate, i just miss pvc tube online and better swivel to be perfect bar.

Is it possible to change the length of the front lines also like airush or just the length of backlines

Many thanks for your reply. I didn t find any reference in product manual about adjusting the throw. Can you provide more details? Can you add more throw to factory settings or it is just to reduce throw like with bar stopper?

It doesnt have a stopper in the new bar. You have to feed through the rope through the depower. It's a bit of a fiddle but works similar to the Duotone adjustment. It also has adjustable widths on it.

The other settings would be on the new kites in regards to drift, pivot etc

Sorry i am still confused.

Does this adjustments affects the length of front lines, making it shorter or longer, or not at all?

Or it is fixed length for throw+depower: implying that the more bar throw you configure the less depower length you have and vice versa?

Thank you very much again for your explanation

If you increase bar throw you will lose same amount of depower range in trimmer. Depower line is one line which goes from the clam cleat through the bar down to chickenloop, then through the bar again, through the clam cleat and then via front line pulley (or ring or block) back to trimmer and finally to the trim line end. Length of that line remains same, no matter where trimmer (clam cleat) is positioned for bar throw.

Crystal clear thanks!

So what you gain in bar through you loose in depower trim range.

I finally found this over the internet.

2021 Changes

Entirely redesigned Quick Matic safety system for safety by intuitiveness
New donkey stick and chicken loop, fine-tuned for convenience and comfort
Refined single depower line with double-layered core of Spectra and covered with TPU for less friction and extra long life-span
New red line swivel below the Quick Matic 2 for easy untwist and tangle-free use
Reinforcement of pigtails for a stronger more durable connection and easy tie-on tie-off
Tighter braided red safety line for increased longevity

Has someone more information, it is hard from times to times to distinguish in the marketing terms, which changes are relevant and which not.
