Am i correct in understanding that to use all the functions of pro i need to be connected to a phone, but i cannot connect to smart watch? If this is the case is it possible to still use a smart watch and use the gps functions of watch? Or is it just not possible to do both.

The Woo is a lot of fun. If you use a watch app, it soon becomes easy to gauge the height of a jump.
I have a few suggestions:
1. It would be great if users could enter kite brand, model, and size for every session instead of using hashtags and then make them searchable.
2. A forum for big air would be great.
3. I am surprised that Woo doesn’t post the leaderboard on Instagram every week. Riders love bragging rights and would share with their friends.
I had an early version of the Woo and I did not like it. The current version is so much better. Downloads are simple and work every time. At my local spot, most riders gave Woo a try years ago and gave up, so I am spreading the word.

Anybody else keep reading the title of this and think the next evolution of the woo is the Woo Poo?

More ideas for Woo app
1. Journal feature - allow user to review all sessions recorded. That way you could see how many sessions you had a month, year, see old photos, record wind data, etc.
2. Add a snow kite leaderboard. One for big air and another for max speed.

I have spent a little time on the app. It is interesting searching on hashtags and by location. I like the app, but there is definitely room for improvement.
Here are a few more ideas:
1. It would be interesting to see the spots with the highest jumps. From a travel perspective it would highlight the locations for a travel bucket list. Sure, we know that Capetown is going to be at the top of the list, but it would be cool if could also sort by continent/ country.
2. In addition to asking users for kite size, It would also be cool if users were asked for water conditions - chop, waves, or flat and wind conditions.
3. Asking users to enter kite size would really be a nice feature. While hashtags are great, not everyone uses them and they are not consistent. There is a hashtag #9m & #9sqm. So, if you want to see how high riders are jumping on a 9m kite, you have two separate searches. Many riders do not report kite size or at least not as a hashtag. There is so much interesting data that could be collected.
Improving the app will lead to more engagements and more sales, not only of the device, but also for the pro subscription.
