So I have to start packing my cellphone while I kite to take advantage of Woo Pro??? That seems like a step backwards. And nowhere was that made clear in the marketing of Woo Pro.

If you really want the Woo Pro features you can also use the Surfr app + mount..

Hi Fernmanus,

This overview on our website explains which features are Free (the same that always were free) and which are PRO without phone and which are PRO with phone.

You have to carry it on you. Pro only works with your cell phones GPS.
Is there a fundamental reason why It can not work with the Apple Watch with Cellular? It has 3g/4g, Bluetooth and GPS. Its basically a tiny iphone on wrist and much more convenient to use then to take an iphone in a pouch.
Will there be support for Anaylytics+ with an Apple watch in the future?
same question here
We are with you Matt, Babylon and Joe.

Connected watches are the future. But not ready to go in every country so we opted for a dual approach, phones and watches.

Yeah they answered that question on their Facebook page. They are looking into using watches but right now they say the GPS is not good enough in the current line of watches. For now it has to be a phone. I have been enjoying having my phone for 2 reasons. 1st is music while riding, 2nd is I have been going on long runs with my foil so it adds some security. I know if I end up in trouble I can just call for help or an uber if end up way downwind.

1. You can listen to music with an Apple Watch, connect via wireless Bluetooth headphones.
2. That is a good reason to carry your phone. 👍

Unless Apple becomes the only phone/watch manufacture I won't have one. My disdain for Apple goes way back. I feel dirty just talking about them lol.

So users of woo pro, how do you find it? Does it work as advertised? Any issues with connectivity with phones? I'm very tempted to try it for a month..

What stops you from trying, it's not that expensive you have to consider selling your kidneys ;)
