🔝perfect conditions indeed! Well powered so that the board barely touches the water.

In these conditions mako is such a perfect board to ride.

My personal problem is that I am a heavy guy and already ride on 2m more kite than others on same conditions (11m when others on 9m ). If I want to get the mako out I need +1m more kite than usual for sure...And when at onshore sketchy beach conditions bigger kites start to feel not right.

Best was lately when few guys were out on surfboards and 7-8 m kites and I was on my mako and 14m kite (overpowered but I don't have 12m kite)...

I read something by OR about the recently updated Mako trying different fin configurations and sized. The short version said four fins sucked so they stuck with the classic two fin configuration.
Ride it more level and steer it upwind more than trying to edge upwind. And yes, needs lots of power. Great board though!
