For the first time in ages, I will go for a 12 pivot for jumping high. I can't wait. No really, I want that right kite so bad now.

New 12 will be awesome this yr.
I have been informed 👏
I'm just hoping that they're already on a ship because China's biggest shipping port closed 4 days ago because of positive covid worker and it will affect supply chains around the world.

Well don't leave us hanging? What's new for the Pivot S26? Any significant changes/design?

Exactly. Wait for S26 or go for a discount S25 Pivot to replace my small Slash & 9m 2017 Pivot...

I've heard that they will have reduced weight. Not sure about how much though. I guess for the bigger sizes this could make a difference - hence the excitement above about the 12m? If a 9m is your biggest kite and you're only out in 18+ knots on it, I don't think you'll feel a significant difference. Maybe some better drift in waves but probably nothing major. I currently fly the S25 9m pivot btw and it is by far the best kite I have ever owned in that size for all round riding. Great low end and super-easy upwind both on TT and surfboard, and such an easy booster on a TT when the wind picks up. Great soft downloops also, easy to control and very predictable, it really inspires confidence to just go for it. In the high end it pulls hard though, but still manageable and then it's a real moon-rocket on a twintip. Too much pull then on a surfboard though, but good excuse to switch to a smaller kite sooner if that's what you're doing that day. So if you're looking for a new 9m Pivot, you definitely can't go wrong with the S25.

Thanks Strekke, good info on s25. Did you experiment with the bridle setting adjustment and did that impact behaviour a lot or minor?

Hey folks,

I just saw this post and uploaded a short clip from the last weekend of the new Naish Pivot S26 for 2022. Don't expect too much... Just a short on from the Naish booth... :D

Stay happy and keep riding :thumb:

Peace
