Is there no auto untwist?? I was hoping for that. The new design looks ugly, but looks like it could be a decent bar. Still think the new slingshot bar looks better

Do you know that the Torque 2 is only ATB? Personally, I could never quite decide which I like better. I use the trim very seldom tho, so that is probably why I don't care much.

PS. How do you rear line flag out with the current Torque bar? Is rear line flag out just not a thing anymore?
Exactly. I believe the only bar where you could do a rear line flag out was the previous Slingshot bar. Everybody is on front line safety.
My 2008 Airush bar was using one front line when releasing the chickenloop. So was the ~2010 Ozone bar. But if you really wanted to flag the kite, you could grap either backline with a handle or a ring, and totally flag the kite (after moving the leash and releasing the CL).

Gutted no auto untwist. looks like a Reedin bar now. Sorry Naish u dropped the ball on this one. Most new bars coming out now have that feature.

OK, not BTB option. But will the new Torque 2 ATB still have the same option to move the cleat down to reduce the bar throw?
This was really cool as I do not have very long arms and Naish offered this feature for smaller riders.
So any idea if this trim features is still available for the Torque 2?

Someone let me try the new black pirate 8m Pivot in waves. I ride surfboards on wax. I was having a bad day on my own 7m Slash. Wind felt unstable. I reluctantly put up this new 8m Pivot LE you are all frothing over.

I was stunned at how good it flew. The wind suddenly felt perfect. I did my one strapless back-roll/pussyloop trick and it was easy. I did two more. Flying that kite made my day. I will get one when I have the opportunity but after a few denied attempts at getting one on Old Mate's bro brah deal I had to get something else out of desparation. (8m Enduro V2) I can demo it again any time though, and I will: out of curiosity, to compare the two. It was easily, and by far, the best kite I have flown in 15 years of flying kites riding on surfboards. And I wasn't a big Pivot fan. I am now. (I have no affiliation with either Naish or Ozone).
( I weigh about 188 lbs and wearing a 4 mil full suit and booties aka fat bastard.) The 8m was absolutely perfect, however....

I couldn't really try going down the line fast and drifting as wind was dying. I could mostly just do tacks and back rolls: groveling in light wind. For me Pivots have tended to pull me slightly off the board as soon as they got too powered. Hard to kill the kite at speed. Hence the trusty 7m Slash.

Anxious to see if this has been remedied. The thing felt brick solid in the air. I expect it does everything well.

interesting quick release design, although it is easy to loose the loop if you want to ride unhooked...

"pre stretched tls400 flying lines - market leading strength eliminates uneven line stretch"

What is so market leading about a sk75 400kg cousin trestec line? Or is this their way to admit that their previous thin lines were way too elastic and the 2mm+ 500kg lines they had after that shrunk too much?

I just saw the new Naish bar in iKsurf's new eMag.

Looks interesting. No more BTB. Better lines, better swivel thing, better floats and a fully detachable chicken loop. Didn't Liquid Force do a fully detachable chicken loop in like 2009? That thing sucked! I hope this one works better.
I don't see myself in the "need to swap chicken loops often" demographic though.
The carabiner slider will solve all my problems with my sliding ring ! I wish it was out now ! All my bars are needing replacement.
