is the Quick Release different to the usual Naish set-up? In the video, the safety line seems to emerge from the side of the upper section of the QR (red part) , the lower section of the QR (black) seems to show the loop attached at both ends by what look like rivets, and the (donkey dick, chicken finger) also looks to be attached in the centre by another rivet.
Maybe the QR works by detaching completely from the (black) Loop, Chicken finger, assembly which has a 'male' insert into the upper (red) QR. The safety line exiting out the side of the upper (red) QR would facilitate this.

Or have I been imagining it !!

The QR looks completely different. I hope they have options so I don't have to pull my QR every time I hook in due to my ring

Did anyone try this damn bridle on the S25 pivot? 🤣
Considering getting a 2020 8m pivot to compliment my 2020 11m but a bit hesitant if the 9m 2021 has a higher top end with the bridle adjustment

I tried it today on the 11m and im not sure if I underinflated it, or it is because I use a different bar, or was it just too windy for a 11m but it tacoed a lot on the heavier gusts.

I pumpet it to 8psi as it recommends on the leading edge, but maybe its the gauge on my pump, although its a relatively new pump and the leading edge did seem firm enough.

It might have just been too windy for an 11m.

I can't give you a deffinate answer if the tacoing was because the bridle attachment.

Has this happened to anybody else under really overpowered conditions, or should I check my pump gauge and line lenghts (my bar has equal line lenghts and it has only about 7 sessions on it) I use Liquid Force Mission control bar V3

But I did use the same kite the other day with the normal setting and the kite was really good and I really enjoyed it, but during that session it was not that windy tho.

This is the chart from the spot I kitesurfed today, my session lasted between 10:00 - 11:30, so it was between 26 to 35 knots.

35 knots is really too much for an 11. I mean I would be scared. 26 knots is also high for an 11 IMO. All this of course depends on weight, board, skills etc. but damn...35 knots...40 mph. I would be lit on a 9. :o :o

I just saw the new Naish bar in iKsurf's new eMag.

Looks interesting. No more BTB. Better lines, better swivel thing, better floats and a fully detachable chicken loop. Didn't Liquid Force do a fully detachable chicken loop in like 2009? That thing sucked! I hope this one works better.
I don't see myself in the "need to swap chicken loops often" demographic though.
