12. I guess they are based on Maui FL-389 with an added tracer.

Current ones get loose faster because there is less coating. That's why the monofilament is needed - to provide some stiffness.
Curios to see the new lines - especially if the monofilament is there for the same function or just for keeping the corporate identity
I am not a fan of the trace technology, it seems to have a different stretch characteristic and just loosens the weave.

I think the whole trace keeps the lines from kinking and makes them last longer is bull.

I’d rather have color coded lines.

It does. Its new name is Tarifa Fl 340T. 8 braid, trace, 350 kgs and 1.6mm diameter.
