I got around 20 sessions on Kite and I feel it is time to buy my first 12m kite...
My board is a 139 eleveight master carbon
My aspiration is to freeride and big air
I don't wanna break my bank for the first kite
My choice is between a slingshot rpm 2019 12m new, or an eleveight 2020 RS 12m or a cabrinha 2019 FX 12meter... Could you help in the choice?
Thanks, all suggestions, and raccomendation are. Very welcome

I've ridden rpms for years, now have 2019 and 2020's.While they are middle of the road jumpers I would look elsewhere if you want to achieve bigair stardom !

Of those I've only ridden the RS in 9m and found it very good, although not as good as my 9m Pivots. I have a 2018 11m Pivot that is pretty good, but have not ridden the 12m. I have a 2020 10m Pivot and love it so the 12m might be good too. I was impressed with the North Reach, again in 10m, and folks on the beach at Kite Point in Cape Hatteras riding the 12m Reach really liked it. So the Pivot and Reach are two other possibilities for you. If you can wait a couple more months all 2020 kites will get considerably cheaper as the 2021 versions are released, pending supply of course.

Been on fx 12m 2018 for the last couple of years. The boosting needs timing and the hangtime @ 190pounds is limited. I will be mooving on probably on North Reach.

The RS has a ridiculous range. I see guys at my local on a 12m hanging on when I'm OK on my 7. The Pivots are great on the low end but don't have the high end wind capacity the RS. I don't know the FX very well. I had a go on an RS and the thing is sick for boosting.

From those kites I'd take RS for big air and freeride riding. Imo it's also really good kite to learn jumping and riding, since it has quite good hang time, really easy timing and some cross-over characteristics. Good kite with crazy wind range as bjw states.
Have tried some versions of RPM and FX in past also, they are really good kites and liked both, but maybe better suited to more experienced riders who do unhooking, looping etc.

Eleveight RS. Less fatigue- more time on the water- more jumps. More float- less fatiguing on knees- more jumps.
Fast enough to loop nicely. Very few negatives and the best of the 3 for your requirements. I have the 9m and 12m 2020 models.

Happy owner of Eleveight RS2021 7/10/12... Big fan of this brand since 3 years now, nothing beats the RS, such a versatile kite, I use it for waves, twintips, foiling. This is one of the best versatile kite I have ever used ! Quality construction and durability is +++ ! No more hesitation for me !
