So how much was the parking ticket? Maybe you could post a sad story on gofundme and the nice people on the internet will help you pay it.

Thought about it some more, talked with some friends and we’ve decided that it is indeed a shite town and everyone should stay away, especially on the weekends in July & August.

EDIT: this was intended as a sarcastic joke, apparently doesn’t work without voice inflection, even as over the top as it is
Everyone is, of course, welcome & it’s a great town
And as when you travel anywhere, please try not to be a jerk

Pretty immature rant. With teachers like that, it is no wonder our education system is falling behind.

Pinknorthpride, if you think you are morally superior to a retired schoolteacher because he drives an RV, you need to get outside of your bubble. I personally do not care for RV’s, but I don’t view the people that drive them as “despicable.”
Well there lyeth the basis of our disagreement.. I do indeed dwell within a bubble of my own perfection, quite happy in it, happy that is until some 32foot behemoth hoves into view either blocking the highway, or reducing the availability of space for others, whilst consuming God knows how many gallons per hour to have gotten there.
Well said and thank you for letting us know of your amazing virtue. You sound like you are more special than the OP and must be more special than most people I know. Your parents must be so proud. Congratulations!

Just curious, can you park further away with an rv and then get an uber/taxi/bus/tram or something to get to the spot?

Toby, not sure this thread is about kitesurfing. It’s about slagging a town and it’s parking facilities. Boring. On that basis delete or close?
