Our 2021 collection embodies our ethos more than ever before. Every year, everyday, every minute, every second we find ourselves coming back to the three pillars that hold Airush to what it is today; innovation, durability and sustainability. Our designers have worked relentlessly to bring to you what we felt was missing or needed improvement, not just from our collection, but from the market as a whole. We bring you designs that solve problems and create opportunity, designs that remind you why started riding in the first place, to have fun. This year we have raised the bar to a height never before reached by our team and we are beyond excited to present to you the Airush Collection for 2021.
Session is good for hooked freestyle and soft kite loops. Put the fixed bridle on and it’s solid for unhooked.
Would you say the new Session is closer to the former Wave or the former Diamond?
I thought the Diamond was pretty good for unhooked freestyle, with decent boosting, light bar pressure, good low-end (meaning good in the low-half of the wind range or for lighter people). It was also a kite with mellow kiteloops (as opposed to radical kiteloops).
I tried the former Wake kite, but I thought it was too much of an ultra-specific wave kite (at least the version I tried), I would not even have used it as a free ride kite.
If the new Session is closer to the former Diamond, I would find that interesting.
Any details on this?

This is coming from feedback from others. I haven't ridden it yet. I just heard from some people that rode it that the fixed bridle makes it a fun freestyle unhooked machine closer to a union or diamond. using the pully bridle will fluff it down a little for better range and on/off power.
I agree the old wave was a real wave kite. Most kite companies out there don't make real wave kites anymore as the market is tiny for it. They make a wave oriented kite that is still decent at everything else. That's exactly what the session is, but you can re-direct the styling depending on the bridle you use.
