So my thinking is if the Enduro is on the left and the Rebel 2019 is all the way on the right - then it sounds like the Orbit 2021 is somewhere in between leaning towards the Rebel. Which would basically be what I would be looking for.
9 - 11 - 14 works of course. My initial thinking was 8-11-14. But sounds like 9 is small enough as I am a big rider - and I don't mind riding with power.
I will not go 9 - 14 though. The overlap I guess is doable in the sense that I could ride, but too often the wind in Norway will be somewhere around 12-14 in terms of kite size. Many of the best days are the ones where I can ride my 12m Enduro. So few good days so can't "waste" them riding underpowered with a 9 or completely overpowered with a 14.
If you're well powered on the 12m Enduro, the 11m will be plenty enough for looping. Last time I was on my 12m Rebel, Jacobs was flying high on his 11m.
I think you're spot on with your assessments. Let us know what you think of the different sizes

Bought a 8, 10, & 12 Orbit 2021 few weeks ago.
I've been flying Xr6 the last year butt I'm so happy with my Orbits know there so much faster and directer than the XR6 and compared to the Core's less bare pressure!
I always fly my kites overpowered and with the Orbit they really come to life when you take a size up on the water. I had my 8 out in 45knots and it was still stable in the air and handled the gusts very wel , like the high end off the kite's.
Did some small loops on the 8 and 10 and the turned much faster compared to the XR6 one off the reasons I went from the XR to the Orbit.
About hangtime and boosting think the similar to the XR6 I have the same hangtime on the WOO.
The 12 I have only ride it in 15knots so I can't say not much about it a was a little bit underpowered 85kg twintig 136cm.
Bar is good and simple butt I'll miss my automatic untwist like the Core S3 pro bar really don't like to untwist the center lines by hand all the time tried the Core 3S Pro on the Orbit butt it squeeze's the tips together and will fly the kite different unfortunately.
So for know Super happy with my new 2021 Orbit!

What is the wind range like on the orbit 2021? Was thinking of getting a 9m orbit + 12m reach. The 2020 had sort of a weak low end. Weight 155 winds from 15 to 22 knots avg more than that is rare

Low end is 1-2kn better. High end is the same. It still prefers being powered up.

Yesterday I was kiting on a 2020 11m North Orbit in light winds of 14 knots, yes I could not go upwind at all but neither another guy in a Core X6 11m. If the 2021 is lighter then I assume it would work better on these winds ( I'm 85 kg by the way)
I never experienced back stall but maybe its because I'm not a beginner. Still I think for those winds maybe a 3 strut kite would be better. I do ride my 11m from 17 to 22 knots then I go to my 8m, usually if the wind is below 17 knots I stay at home.

14 knots of wind is plenty for us, when major amount of riders go on 12's.

I have the 12m Reach and 9m Orbit.
With 75 kg I am riding the 12m Reach from 10/11 - 20/22 and than I go for the 9 Orbit. Those windranges are with a TT. For 10/11 knots you need skills and good spots where that is possible. Starting 13/14 knots the Reach is getting really fun. Before I just cruise and unhook.

Nice! Happy with that setup? I think we have too much lw to justify having the 12m orbit

Very happy with it. My personal setup ist 12m Reach, 9&7 Orbit 2021. My wife is riding the 10m Reach as well and is very happ, because she can ride the 10m from 12-18 knots gusting higher.
If you have LW conditions as well, the 12m Reach is really good. I have seen the 13m Reach performs really good too. But then you need to jump to the 10m Orbit.
I had an awesome session today on the 9m Orbit 2021. Hangtime seems to be better, but the Orbit 2021 is a little more playful and direct than the 2020.
