I have a Smoke 9 and Mr Green 7.5.
The 9 is so awesome that few months ago I replaced it by another one I found on the second hand market.

Love these kites but they have one big downside. They suck at going upwind. I don't think I can find a kite with worse upwind capabilities.

Try the new North Reach. I would not say they are the same as the old Rabbits. They have that direct feel nice light bar pressure and good all around kites. They don't fall out of the sky like old Wainmans like to do. They are not as grunty either but the low end on them is pretty damn good. I have given up on finding an old Smoke in good condition. I still have an old 7m Gypsy but it's hardly ever windy enough to take it out.

Since my Rabbits I have been on Fuels, RPM's, Core XR5's, and now the Reach.

I was a huge fan of the Wainmans too. I had the whole set of Rabbit gang 2.0. My favorite was the 10.5m Punch. On this kite I learned foil and kitelooping. Now I have replaced it with the Reedin Supermodel 10m. This kite is very versatile and has many features that I really liked about wainman.
