Shiny Bronq advice

Heard people raving about Ronson. Wondered how do they compare as well. Never tried Ronson, but would think that it is stiffer than Bronq.
Which sizes of Bronq are you using and how much do you weight?

I had the original Ronson before the CRB4. IMO it had all the attributes of the CRB and Luigi:- great chop handling, upwind, pop ability etc and was stiffer and heavier but to me lacked the character eg playful, agile and engaging nature of the Bronqs. https://www.iksurfmag.com/reviews/board ... 42cm-2019/

It just didn't have that trademark Shinn feeling that the Bronq and Monk have of being so fun, tossable, fast, forgiving, and easy on the knees. It definitely boosted better with more pop but it honestly just wore my knees out - too stiff and not as much fun.

Thanks a lot for pointing out that Bronq has more flex than Ronson. For some weird reason I thought that Bronq is stiffer. Maybe because I saw carbon being used. Shinn marks the Bronq flex as 4, same as Monk.
Damn I am stoked ..I've read some more about Bronq and it sounds exactly like what I am looking for...the only thing that worries me is SIZING ! The biggest Bronq is 137cm ! On my spot when it's windy it usually goes to 15-20knots during the season and off the season 20-25knots Tops. Is am worried that 137cm is not enough for 187lbs rider...not to mention that official sizing chart for my weight recommends getting the board even smaller at 136x42.

Was described a Monk on steroids at one time, not sure as never ridden a Monk, but I really liked my Bronq.
A great fit between a stiff flat freeride and an easier going freeride.
If anything, it sailed slightly smaller for it's size, than say a Raptor and it liked power.

I am a bit unsure about sizing myself. I am in between sizes according to size guide on shinn website. Sent them an email and for my 84 kg they have recommended 136/42 cm. All the other guys here seem to be on smallest board size. Can anyone comment on that? Is smallest board size just more fun then the bigger ones?
Which sizes are you riding and what is your weight?

135/41 @85kg

Seems perfect for me in anything from 18knts, if its less will jump on a light wind board.. Shinnster.

136/42 @ 116Kg, it was a fraction small.

135 X 41 (?) @ 78 kg. Before this board, I used to ride 132 for many years so this felt a bit big, but I convinced myself that was just in my head. I'm used to it now. It's fine.

I own the 42 ans it's power hungry, I'm 78 kgs. but I ride in fresh water. For 84 kgs. the 42 is perfect. Also, Bronq are boards that feel smaller than they actually are.
