"Flite99" lines? :?:

Duotone really do have it in for Ocean Rodeo, loving the FUD.

So I'm interested in the part that comes before landing that 2021 Neo SLS, the actual riding ;)

Anyone who has experience there already? What's it like? Still as powerful as previous generations for their size?
Judging by the below stills from the Edge Watersports video below of the Neo SLS and the Ozone Reo, probably very similar to, but heavier and slightly larger, than an Ozone Reo.

Last Thursday I could try the new Neo SLS 12 meters in very low conditions 9 knots gusting 12knots maybe. Wind enought to ride and feel the great power of this kite. 12 meters flies as a 10 meters kite, very fast. New flite99 lines make the kite much more reactive, steering is amazing. If your weight is under 100 Kg I think 11meters could be the bigger size of your quiver.

Can then Neo SLS be flown with a low Y line setup? How would this effect the performance?

Try it! The 6m split has more to do with their chickenloop than kite design. Know several riders who ride duotone kites on low split bars without issues.

Without redesigning their chickenloop they are stuck with their current solution, going for a separate flagout line that grabs high up one powerline or struggling with line organisers and stoppers like naish as the 4-5mm hole through the chickenloop doesn't allow for a knot t pass through without getting stuck or slip through the stopper.
