I've also tried turtle wax for cars it didn't work! Johnson's floor wax is what worked for me. As always use at your on risk it probably gets rid of your original factory coating but mine has already worn off.

Nice. I wonder how it does on eyeglasses?

I would recommend against if it has a nice antireflective coat on the lens.

This guy on YouTube says he uses candle wax, and he's a professional photographer... Haven't tried it yet, but maybe its worth a go since the lenses on the GoPro 9 are replaceable if you ruin one.

I've tried candle wax before, it's very difficult to get the right amount on, and the effects are not as good as johnson floor wax. Candle wax smears and it's almost impossible to buff it to the right level enough for a full shine and not so much it rubs off. Horrible!!

If he uses candle wax he has more patience than I have. I tried it three times and each time I had either too much or too little. Johnson's floor floor wax, you smear a little bit over the lens wait then lightly buff. Way easier and better.

Johnson's floor wax is like some kind of miracle. Easy to use, works better than candle wax, rainx, turtle wax, antifog for glasses, it works better than anything I've ever tried.

Has anyone simply tried a light coating of RainX? Spray a screen towelette and apply it to the lens

Rainx is the worst. It works by breaking up water droplets so that they are smaller then the wind pushes then up your windshield

On a GoPro its a disaster as it makes more rain drops than before and if you use glass rainx on a GoPro lens instead of plastic rainx it melts the lens.

Trust me I've tried everything. This is the only thing that has ever worked

The anti fog coatings also make more droplets instead of less
